Yūgen (幽玄) is an important concept in traditional Japanese aesthetics.

Yūgen suggests that which is beyond what can be said, but it is not an allusion to another world. It is about this world, this experience.

In our daily creations we can surely think of many ways to visually imply more by not showing the whole, that is, showing more by showing less. And that the power of suggestion is often stronger than that of full disclosure. We leave the feeling and experience of the wholeness to the owner of the furniture piece/ artwork. Clean, pure and valuable in it’s own sense. Yuugen is something we are trying to portray in every single one of our products..
